Aber Falls 2021 Release

  • Category: Single Malt
  • Origin: Wales
  • Author: @wiciu
  • Rating: 76/100
  • Review: “It is young whisky from Wales, they started distilling few years ago. Hence it is not perfect but can be a good start of a story. Very drinkable, sweet, fruity, not too harsh for age. Maybe too bland for good whisky. Finish nice and quite long and tasty. Not too much wood not too strong. All in all good choice, but, of course, not top whisky. Good luck to Aber Falls in future endeavors”

Arran Amarone Cask Finish

  • Category: Single Malt
  • Origin: Scotland
  • Author: @Alooloo
  • Rating: 83/100
  • Review: “Lovely dram. Such an intense perfume, a pleasure for the nose. On the palate, an explosion of flavour with bitter cherries, some coffee, citrus, chili. Water softens the spicy notes, makes it more silky, accentuates the vinous elements. Medium-long finishing, slightly astringent.”

Ballantine’s Finest

  • Category: Blend
  • Origin: Scotland
  • Author: @DutchDanny
  • Rating: 65/100
  • Review: “Inexpensive easy whisky, great for beginning drinkers. Really good for the price.”

BenRiach 10 Year Old The Smoky Ten

  • Category: Single Malt
  • Origin: Scotland
  • Author: @Kermel
  • Rating: 86/100
  • Review: “Very nice, soft smoky. Spiciness, chocolate, liquorice/cinnamon. Vanilla hints. Yes please :-)”

Blanton’s Single Barrel (46.5%)

  • Category: Bourbon
  • Origin: United States
  • Author: @hgrner23e
  • Rating: 85/100
  • Review: “Is Blantons good because it’s hard to find and no one wants to admit it’s overhyped OR does it pass the hype test? I attribute the thrill of finding a bottle to the experience as much as I do taste. Are there better tasting bourbons, absolutely…but Blantons is a MUST have in your collection.”

Deanston Virgin Oak

  • Category: Single Malt
  • Origin: Scotland
  • Author: @The_Peatfather
  • Rating: 80/100
  • Review: “Subtle and mellow on the nose, slightly acidic on the taste but after that there are plenty of nice fruity tastes.”

Green Frog Barrel Aged Corn Whiskey

  • Category: Corn
  • Origin: United States
  • Author: @dhere123
  • Rating: 76/100
  • Review: “This is a very tasty all corn whiskey. The corn makes a sweet, almost candy flavor. Notes of honey and molasses, just a hint of berries. I’ve tried the distillery twice and I find the owner to be as genuine as anyone I’ve ever met. Give this a try, it’s decent. The white whiskey is the best I’ve ever had also.”

Hinomaru Whiskey (The First Edition)

  • Category: Single Malt
  • Origin: Japan
  • Author: @Durge
  • Rating: 77/100
  • Review: “A uniquely flavorful dram that comes through as more substantial than first it seemed. As Japanese whiskies go it delivers a solid feel and tasty, somewhat medicinal profile with adequate heat.”

Jack Daniel’s Bonded Rye

  • Category: Rye
  • Origin: United States
  • Author: @JimQ41305475
  • Rating: 83/100
  • Review: “Surprised I’m the first review. I see this as falling towards sweet rye. Brown sugar, banana and baking spices.”

Wild Turkey 101 Proof

  • Category: Bourbon
  • Origin: United States
  • Author: @napauleon
  • Rating: 88/100
  • Review: “Full bodied mash bill gives this a solid body with a hit of spice and a sweet, fruity finish; classic bourbon sipper.”
